About

Hello,

Hunter Morancy

Hunter Morancy

My name is Hunter Morancy. I am a second year Journalism and Political Science major at the University of Maine. I graduated from high school with a 3.998 GPA while enjoying and excelling in many extracurricular activities. I was a varsity debate champion, a varsity baseball and tennis player, and was captain of my club ultimate frisbee team. Not only do I play a lot of sports, but I spend a lot of time watching it.  I have watched thousands of games in my life; yet they never seems to get old. Sports interest me because teams are always evolving by finding new ways to win. Because of this, no game from year to year will ever look the same. This is why I have continued to watch each game, to subscribe to Sports Illustrated and ESPN The Magazine, to read books analyzing new trends in sports, to listen to 98.5 The Sports Hub and WEEI daily, and to always watch SportsCenter every morning to analyze how teams change, and why teams win. It is my hope to to spread my ideas and knowledge to an audience who shares the same love that I do, which is my basis to making this blog. I also enjoy sports discussions; thus, if you have an opinion that either agrees or conflicts with mine, or if you would further like talk about the topic, please feel free to email me at morancyhh@gmail.com. Sports is a large part of my life, and I hope through this blog, I can share my love, knowledge and opinions of major Boston Sports teams with an audience who enjoys sports just as much as I do.
